Alice began her dance career in Jacksonville, Florida. She received extensive training from Bill Martin-Viscount at the Southwest Ballet Center in Arlington, Texas and The American Ballet Theatre. As a soloist with “Dance Alive”, she toured throughout the midwest and southeast in over 100 performances each year. Her performing credits include the Joffrey Ballet and the Bay Ballet Theater. While a soloist with Ballet Guild of Jacksonville, she became assistant to the director. She went on to choreograph for many regional ballet companies throughout Florida.
Alice has had many of her jazz and ballet pieces performed at the Southeastern Regional Dance Association. Throughout her career, Alice has worked with great choreographers and teachers such as Anthony Ferro, Carl Ratcliff, Ann Burton, Meredith Baylis, Richard Thomas, Maggie Black, Elizabeth Carrroll, Bobbie Barnette, Gus Giodano, Tom Pazik, and Robert Joffrey. After many years of dancing, teaching, and choreographing for different schools and ballet companies, she became the Artistic Director of The Dance Center and Brandon Ballet. She has brought many quality professionals together to help students build a solid foundation in all styles of dance. Alice takes pride in guiding Brandon Ballet into a ballet company that has professional, pre-professional, and training dancers, while at the same time, providing each dancer a complete education in where their dance can take them. She is excited to see the excellence of the art of dance that Brandon Ballet is producing.
